A note from the director...
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Mishawaka Fieldhouse and to our Buds, FieldSprouts, and Roots (BSR) programs. Children in the 2–10-year-old age range have a rate of learning higher than at any other point in their lives. No matter the sport, we’re committed to using fun, proven curriculum to make the most of this time and eliminate barriers that we’ve seen get in the way. As the instructor for soccer BSR programs, and with three children in this age range, I can safely say that I’ll see you on the turf soon!

The BSR Promise
Your child will receive expert, sport-specific instruction delivered in a positive manner and through age-appropriate curriculum. Sessions will be active—no long lines—and, using fun games and activities, each athlete will get as much time with the ball and experience playing the sport as possible. With sport as the vehicle, BSR children work toward social, emotional, and gross-motor milestones that benefit them in all areas of life.
What you won't see in A BSR session:

-

-

Buds learn foundational skills of the sport through age-appropriate, fun games and activities.
Sprouts (Ages 5-7)
-

-
Boys and Girls
-
FieldSprouts grow and refine foundational skills and are introduced to the elements of gameplay, direction, working as a team, and rules of the game.
Roots (Ages 8-10)
-
Expert-led; parents can relax
-
50-minute sessions
-
Boys and Girls
-
